BuySideSellSide.com has just been updated. Currently there are 10,123 jobs posted vs. 9,350 last month. Unfortunately I don't have historic data but an 8% increase month over month sounds like a good news albeit off of what must be a pretty depressed base. Of the current total, about 1,800 fall into the core category.**
A request: please forward this note to whomever you think might find these numbers and the league tables below useful (hopefully anyone with an interest in this industry). I need subscribers to justify the effort of maintaining the site and newsletter!
